Daddy - "Disa is named after a flower."

Cora - "And do you know what I am named after?? I am named after a cantaloupe!"

Cora (from the other room) - "Mommy, when I am quiet, do you think I am getting in trouble?"

Mommy - "Yes."

Cora - "Well I'm not!"

~ Cora while "washing" her hands in the bathroom.

"Dear God, I pray that baby Will comes out of mommy's tummy and that he has blue eyes and gray-blue hair."

~ Cora praying before bed one night.

"Mom, these new socks are great! I pull them up and they cover my foot but don't go over my neckle!"

Cora - "How big is the mess?"

Mommy - "Pretty big."

Cora - "Is it a huge mess? As huge as Goliath!?!"

"It's going to grow and grow until it's as big as the Holy Spirit!"
